Yesterday (on september 27th, 2006) Bruce Springsteen's emailed Newsletter announced an historic "'BORN TO RUN 30TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION' to release on next november 15th.


The box set will inculde 3 separate discs:

  • a DVD of the "legendary" 1975 Hammersmith Odeon concert, (Thunder Road - Tenth Avenue Freeze Out - Spirit In The Night - Lost In The Flood - She's The One - Born To Run - The E Street Shuffle/Having A Party - It's Hard To Be A Saint In The City - Backstreets - Kitty's Back - Jungleland - Rosalita - 4th Of July Asbury Park (Sandy) - Detroit Medley - For You - Quarter To Three).
  • Another DVD called "Wings for wheels - The making of Born to run" with never before seen archival footage and new interviews with all the band members (Bruce Springsteen - Roy Bittan - Ernest "Boom" Carter - Clarence Clemons - Danny Federici - Nils Lofgren - David Sancious - Patti Scialfa - Garry Tallent - Stevie Van Zandt - Max Weinberg - Jon Landau - Jimmy Iovine - Mike Appel - Eric Meola).
  • And, finaly, a CD of a "brilliantly" remastered "Born to Run".

Very organized your arrived with one of your famous note book on wich you put "yesterday and the day before" your explains. With your eternal sens of self derision you laughed and swore you won't use it, but you did all night long!

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN SETS SOLO TOUR DATES

Bruce Springsteen will celebrate the release of his latest album, Devils & Dust (April 26; Columbia Records) by touring the United States and Europe this spring. The tour will be entirely solo and Springsteen will perform in theaters and in arenas scaled down to theater format. This will be his first solo tour since the 1996-1997 'Ghost of Tom Joad' tour.

COLUMBIA RECORDS TO RELEASE DEVILS & DUST ON APRIL 26

Columbia Records will release Bruce Springsteen's nineteenth album, 'Devils & Dust,' on April 26. 'Devils & Dust' features twelve new Springsteen songs.

'Devils & Dust' was produced by Brendan O'Brien, who first worked with Springsteen on the acclaimed CD, 'The Rising.' The new album was recorded at Thrill Hill Recording Studios in Los Angeles and New Jersey with additional engineering at Southern Tracks Recording in Atlanta.

Springsteen is planning a tour to accompany the release of the album. Details will be announced shortly.
